Written Answers. - Appeal Hearing.

John O'Donoghue

Question:

175 Mr. O'Donoghue asked the Minister for Justice the current position regarding the review of the sentence imposed on a Dundalk restaurateur in view of an Adjournment debate of 6 December 1995; whether the hearing of the appeal by the State has been arranged; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [10990/96]

I am informed by the Garda authorities that the date has not yet been arranged for the hearing of the appeal by the State against the suspension of the balance of sentence in the case referred to by the Deputy.
