Land acquisition by my Department for the purpose of nature conservation is always subject to availability of resources. Of necessity, priority has to be given to more immediatiely threatened areas of conservation value. However, the possibility of acquiring the property referred to by the Deputy is being considered although I understand that it has not as yet been placed on the market.
