Question:

158 Ms Shortall asked the Minister for Education if her Department's Inspector has made contact with the family of a person (details supplied) in Dublin 9 further to Parliamentary Question 52 of 2 May 1996; and if an appropriate school placement has been arranged in respect of this child. [11374/96]

I am pleased to inform the Deputy that a member of my Department's inspectorate has met the parents of the child in question. The child in question has been offered a place in a special school commencing September 1996.
