Vol. 466 No. 8

Written Answers. - Non-national Roads Study.

Rory O'Hanlon

Question:

88 Dr. O'Hanlon asked the Minister for the Environment when the consultant study of non-national roads will be completed; the terms of reference of this group; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [11750/96]

The contract for the conduct of this study provides for its completion by the end of February 1997. The consultants are to determine the length and average width, on a county by county basis, of regional and county roads requiring surface restoration, road reconstruction or restoration of skid resistance; and the total cost of each type of remedial work, for each category of road, for each county council area.
