Vol. 467 No. 1

Written Answers. - Heroin Dealing.

Tony Gregory

Question:

259 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Justice whether the gardaí will take appropriate action to bring to an end the daily and nightly heroin dealing from a flat (details supplied) in Dublin 1 in view of the mounting frustration of the tenants in the complex. [12605/96]

I am informed by the Garda authorities that the flat in question has been searched on a number of occasions by gardaí. Arising from one of these searches, a person is currently before the courts charged under section 3 and 15 of the Misuse of Drugs Acts, 1977 to 1984.
