297 Mr. O'Leary asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when a person (details supplied) in County Kerry will be paid a grant under the control of farmyard pollution scheme in view of the fact that he has money borrowed on foot of this scheme; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [12572/96]

Approval issued to the applicant in June 1995 under the control of farm pollution scheme, on the understanding that payment would be made in 1997, subject to the work being completed to the Department's specification.

298 Mr. E. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when payment of a CAP grant under the forestry scheme will be issued to a person (details supplied) in County Cork. [12718/96]

The applicant in question was requested to furnish information by my Department in March 1996. To date this information has not been received. Upon receipt of the required details the person's application for a forest premium will be considered.

Frank Crowley

Question:

301 Mr. Crowley asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry whether an application in respect of the REP scheme has been approved for a person (details supplied) in County Cork; if so, when payment will issue; and when an extensification grant will be paid to this person. [12730/96]

The REP application in this case has been approved and payment will issue in the next few weeks.

Extensification premium amounting to £29.29 per head is payable on suckler cows and male cattle to producers whose stocking density is less than 1.4 LU/ha. Payment is made automatically to all qualifying producers who submit an "area aid" application. The application in this case is being processed at present and extensification premium should issue shortly if due.
