Question:62 Dr. McDaid asked the Minister for Education the current position in relation to Gaelscoil Adhamhain, Letterkenny, County Donegal. [12421/96]
Written Answers. - Letterkenny (Donegal) Gaelscoil.
I approved the inclusion of Gaelscoil Adhmhnáin in the 1996 list of primary school projects for planning. This approval will enable the project to proceed to preliminary architectural planning.
A suitable site has been identified for the Gaelscoil and my Department has indicated agreement to purchase this site subject to obtaining planning permission for the construction of a school. My Department is presently preparing the planning application. The school manager has been in touch with my Department and has been advised of the position.
