Question:

23 Mr. Dempsey asked the Minister for Justice the current position regarding the refurbishment of the Garda Station in Trim, County Meath; when work will commence; the works to be completed; the expected cost involved; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [12797/96]

It is proposed to carry out major refurbishment works at Trim District Head-quarters station commencing in September. The work to be carried out will include alterations to the internal layout of the building, the upgrading of cell accommodation, electrical and heating improvements and works to the roof. The estimated cost of the proposed works is £200,000.
