Question:

90 Mr. Finucane asked the Minister for Education the current status of a primary school (details supplied) in County Limerick which has been approved by her for appropriate building work; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [13763/96]

The school referred to by the Deputy is among those included in the 1995 Capital Building Programme. The present position is that the revised plans submitted by the school's architect are being examined within my Department. It is anticipated that the design will be finalised within the next week. The school authorities will then be in a position to apply for planning permission.
