Vol. 467 No. 6

Written Answers. - Hospital Entrance.

Robert Molloy

Question:

71 Mr. Molloy asked the Minister for Health whether he has received an application for a special allocation of funds for the provision of a new entrance-exit from Merlin Park Hospital to traffic lights at Galway Crystal factory, Galway; and when a decision will be made on the matter. [13881/96]

Limerick East): I have received the application to which the Deputy refers. This proposal is one of many requests for significant capital funding which have received from the Western Health Board. These various requests are being considered in my Department in the light of the major capital funding commitments which have been made to the board in recent times and having regard to the competing priorities for such funding in the board's area and elsewhere.
