428 Mr. B. Smith asked the Minister for Transport, Energy and Communications the total funding available to his Department under the INTERREG II Programme; the projects assisted to date; the level of expenditure per project; the projects that will be assisted for the remainder of the programme; the level of funding per project; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [14369/96]

Under INTERREG II, a total investment programme of £30 million is proposed in the development of telecommunications, electricity and public transport.
