Question:

316 Mr. Kenneally asked the Minister for the Environment if he will give a breakdown of the success and failure rates in the Waterford Test Centre; if he will give a breakdown of these rates by male and female; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [15006/96]

The success/failure rates for males and females who undertook the driving test in Waterford test centre during 1995 were as follows: Males: 51.9 per cent, pass; 48.1 per cent, fail; Females: 53.4 per cent, pass; 46.6 per cent, fail.
