Vol. 469 No. 2

Written Answers. - Provision of Hospital Lift.

Ned O'Keeffe

Question:

65 Mr. E. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Health if he will make the necessary funding available from his Department to provide a lift for a hospital (details supplied) in County Cork; and if his attention has been drawn to the fact that this project has already been submitted to his Department. [17082/96]

Máirín Quill

Question:

75 Miss Quill asked the Minister for Health when it is proposed to commence work on the installation of a lift at Youghal District Hospital, County Cork, which was included in the Southern Health Board's top eight proposals for funding in 1992; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [17125/96]

Limerick East): I propose to take Questions Nos. 65 and 75 together.

In view of the other priorities for capital funding in the Southern Health Board area, it has not been possible to provide funding for this project to date. I hope to be in a position to approve funding in the near future.
