Vol. 469 No. 3

Written Answers. - Jamestown Cemetery (Leitrim) Works.

John Ellis

Question:

71 Mr. Ellis asked the Minister for Arts, Culture and the Gaeltacht if he will give sanction for remedial works to be carried out at Jamestown Cemetery, County Leitrim, for which sanction was sought by the local community in May 1996. [17336/96]

The National Monuments and Historic Properties service of my Department has now replied to a letter of 27 May 1996 which inquired about the arrangements which needed to be made before work could proceed at Jamestown Cemetery, County Leitrim. The service is awaiting a reply from the community group involved.
