Written Answers. - Raheny (Dublin) Hospital.

Liam Fitzgerald

Question:

103 Mr. L. Fitzgerald asked the Minister for Health his views on the decision by the board of St. Joseph's Private Hospital, Springdale Road, Raheny, Dublin 5, to dispose of the hospital to a foreign company in view of the enormous contribution made by St. Joseph's to hospital and step-down care services in Raheny and the northside of the city; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [17880/96]

Limerick East): I understand that the hospital referred to by the Deputy is a private hospital and, consequently, I do not have any function in this matter.
