113 Miss de Valera asked the Minister for Arts, Culture and the Gaeltacht the plans, if any, he has to bring proposals to Government to address the demands made by the independent radio sector at a recent press conference. [17794/96]
I hope to be in a position to bring my proposals for new broadcasting legislation to Government within the next few weeks. My proposals will deal with the legislation structures for all aspects of broadcasting in Ireland including the independent commercial sector.
I am aware of the concerns of the local radio sector.
