Question:

125 Mr. Callely asked the Minister for Arts, Culture and the Gaeltacht the resources available to him and the Minister of State(s) at his Department for the running of ministerial offices and constituency offices in terms of support services, finance and personnel, established and non-established, programme managers and special advisers; if he will give a breakdown in this regard; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My Department's administration budget, which is approved by the Dáil each year as part of the Estimates process, provides the resources for the running of the Department as a whole, including the ministerial and constituency offices. The present staffing complement of those offices is set out below.

Minister's Private Office

There are eight established officers and two non-established officers working in my Private Office as follows:

Established officers

Two Executive Officers (including my Private Secretary)

Two Clerical Officers

Four Clerical Assistants

Non-established officers

One Programme Manager

One Special Adviser

Minister's Constituency Office

There are three established officers and three non-established officers working in my Constituency Office as follows:

Established officers

One Executive Officer

One Clerical Officer

One Clerical Assistant

Non-Established officers
One Personal Assistant
One Personal Secretary
One Temporary Clerical Assistant (on Irish language duties)
Office of the Minister of State
There are two established officers working in the Minister of State's Office as follows:
