204 Miss Coughlan asked the Minister for Education if she will have investigations made regarding the possibility of including Kilkenny national school, Glenties, County Donegal, as part of the breaking the cycle of disadvantage scheme announced recently. [19371/96]

The Deputy will be aware that the Education Research Centre was responsible for the selection of schools for inclusion in the Breaking the Cycle initiative.

I have contacted the centre concerning the school in question and I will advise the Deputy of the outcome.
