Question:

254 Mr. Callely asked the Minister for Tourism and Trade the resources available to him and the Minister (s) of State at his Department for the running of ministerial offices and constituency offices in terms of support services, finance and personnel, established and non-established, programme managers and special advisers; if he will give a breakdown in this regard; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The total salary and other pay-related costs and numbers of all staff in my private and constituency offices, and those of the Minister of State, are shown in the table below:

Apart from the above resources, myself and the Minister of State have available to us the normal resources of the Department. The cost of running our offices is met from the Department's administrative budget which is approved by the Dáil as part of the annual Estimates process.
