Question:

192 Miss Coughlan asked the Minister for Education if there is a priority order for school building projects in 1995; if so, if she will give details of the priority listing; and when the 1995 projects will be completed. [21002/96]

There is no specific priority listing for school building projects. The current practice is that where a need has been identified for a major capital project, the project is brought through the various stages of architectural planning. When the planning has been completed, projects are released to construction in the light of available capital.

Completion dates on individual projects vary and it is not practicable to give one overall completion date for all projects. However, if the Deputy has a query about any specific project on the 1995 programme, I will be happy to provide the details.
