Written Answers. - Decommissioning of Paramilitary Weapons.
I delivered a statement on decommissioning on behalf of the Government to the Plenary Session of the Northern Ireland talks on 29 October. That statement developed ideas contained in a joint paper published by the Irish and British Governments on 1 October which set out suggested conclusions to the address to decommissioning in the Opening Plenary Session. Questions from the other participants arising from that presentation were answered by Minister of State, Deputy Coveney, and me at the talks on 4-6 November.
