Vol. 472 No. 7
116 Mr. O'Donoghue asked the Minister for Justice whether it is her practice to have management meetings with senior personnel in her Department; and, if so, the frequency of such meetings. [24039/96]
I have meetings, several times a week, with senior personnel in my Department to discuss management and operational issues affecting the Department and its responsibilities. I also have meetings with senior personnel, as a group, to discuss management issues; the frequency of such meetings depends on needs and circumstances.
A part from those meetings, senior management in the Department themselves meet regularly to consider a range of management and operational matters. I am informed about the outcome of these meetings and consulted on issues arising from them, as a matter of course.
