Question:115 Mr. O'Donoghue asked the Minister for Justice whether she will make funds available to repair and refurbish the Garda station at Sneem, County Kerry; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [24031/96]

The Office of Public Works have been requested to provide a sketch scheme and costing in respect of proposed refurbishment work at Sneem. It is not possible to say at this stage when work on the project will commence. However, it will be progressed as quickly as possible having regard to overall priorities and the availability of finance.
