Vol. 472 No. 8

Written Answers. - Hospital Building Projects.

Austin Deasy

Question:

64 Mr. Deasy asked the Minister for Health the timescale of the various stages involved in the building of the 27 bed replacement unit at St. Joseph's Hospital, Dungarvan, County Waterford. [24189/96]

Limerick East): The provision of the replacement unit at St. Joseph's Hospital, Dungarvan, is a matter for the South-Eastern Health Board.

The board informs me that the builder will be signing the contract on the basis of a twelve month construction period commencing on site after Christmas. This should mean that the work will be finished by Christmas 1997.
