Vol. 473 No. 3

Written Answers. - Butter Vouchers.

Willie O'Dea

Question:

224 Mr. O'Dea asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry if his attention has been drawn to the fact that butter vouchers are only given in respect of one particular brand of butter. [25192/96]

The vouchers referred to by the Deputy are, in fact, valid for any brand of butter.

The scheme, which is primarily an EU funded dairy support measure, does not, however, cover reduced fat, mixed, or non-dairy fat products.
