68 Ms Keogh asked the Minister for Health the additional moneys, if any, which have been paid as a top-up to their budgets to Beaumont Hospital, Saint Vincent's Hospital, Mater Hospital, Meath Hospital, and Saint James's Hospital; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [25065/96]

Limerick East): Additional funding is made available to health agencies in the course of a year to meet approved items such as waiting list reduction, pay agreements and agreed developments. Naturally, the amount will vary from year to year and from hospital to hospital. In respect of the hospitals the Deputy has inquired about the adjustments to date in 1996 are as follows: Beaumont, £3.316 million; St. Vincent's, £3.218 million; Mater, £2.985 million; Meath, £0.950 million; St. James's, £4.278 million.
