Question:

79 Mr. N. Ahern asked the Minister for Health the average number in casualty each morning waiting for a bed for each day of the week in each of the main six Dublin hospitals for the period since September 1996; if he will give details of the greatest numbers so waiting at 8 a.m. on any morning during this period; and the longest period a patient had to wait for a bed during this period. Limerick East): Statistics are not readily available in the form requested but I have sought this information from the six hospitals and I will forward it to the Deputy as soon as I receive it.
