82 Mr. Callely asked the Minister for Equality and Law Reform the total amount of debts owed by semi-State bodies under the aegis of his Department at the end of November 1996; the comparative figures in this regard for each of the years 1990 and 1993; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Two statutory bodies operate under the aegis of my Department, namely the Legal Aid Board and the Employment Equality Agency. Neither had borrowings outstanding at the end of November 1996. This position is similar to that which prevailed in 1990 and in 1993.
