81 Mr. Callely asked the Minister for Equality and Law Reform the number of Bills published by his Department in 1996; the comparative figure in this regard for 1993; and the Bills which will be published in the first three months of 1997. [24994/96]
To date in 1996 my Department published four Bills, which are as follows:
Employment Equality Bill, 1996;
Civil Liability (Amendment) Bill, 1996;
Family Law (Divorce) Bill, 1996;
Registration of Births Bill, 1996.
The comparative figure for 1993 is four. These Bills were as follows:
Adoptive Leave Bill, 1993;
Jurisdiction of Courts and Enforcement of Judgments Bill, 1993;
Matrimonial Home Bill, 1993;
Interpretation (Amendment) Bill, 1993.
I expect to publish two Bills in the first three months of 1997, namely, the Equal Status Bill and the Children Bill.
