I propose to take Questions Nos. 24, 29, 30, 34, 36, 51, 55, 62, 66 and 69 together.
My Department does not have a centralised record of capital works undertaken in the 1987 to 1996 period.
The Department gives grant-aid in respect of approximately 1,500 capital projects each year. I cannot justify diverting scarce staff resources to examining all the files in question to ascertain the details of each project and the constituency involved.
I would be very happy to provide information in respect of any particular school.
