142 Mr. Ellis asked the Minister for Arts, Culture and the Gaeltacht if he will have arrangements made to pay compensation to a person (details supplied) in County Leitrim in respect of land which was acquired from him at Lough Scur, Keshcarrigan, County Leitrim, as part of the Shannon/Erne Waterway scheme. A compensatory payment was made to the claimant in August 1993 in respect of the compulsory acquisition of certain lands but I understand that the waterways service of my Department has not yet received a claim in respect of other lands.
