Vol. 473 No. 6

Written Answers. - Assistant State Pathologist.

Mary Coughlan

Question:

80 Miss Coughlan asked the Minister for Justice if she will have arrangements made for the appointment of an assistant state pathologist in Cork; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [2160/97]

The Civil Service Commission advertised the post of deputy state pathologist on 16 and 17 January 1997. The appointee will be based in Dublin and his-her duties will extend countrywide. I have no proposals to appoint an assistant state pathologist in Cork.
