78 Mr. Costello asked the Minister for Education if she will ensure that the current quota of staff in Mater Dei primary school, Basin Lane, Dublin 8, is maintained in the 1997/98 school year; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [2669/97]
I am not in a position to state whether Mater Dei primary school will retain its current quota of staff in September 1997. This is because decisions have not yet been taken regarding the staffing allocations for primary schools for the 1997/98 school year. However, as soon as the allocations are determined, officials of my Department will review the position of the school and will correspond directly with the board of management in the matter.
