Question:126 Mr. Callely asked the Minister for the Environment the total legal costs incurred by his Department in 1995 for professional legal services; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [2867/97]
Written Answers. - Departmental Costs.
An officer of my Department is employed as a legal adviser. In addition, my Department obtains legal advice from the Office of the Attorney General and the Office of the Chief State Solicitor, from time to time, without charge. No payments for external legal services were made by my Department in 1995.
