131 Mr. L. Fitzgerald asked the Minister for the Environment whether it is proposed to establish the Constituency Boundary Commission to redraw the constituency borders on the basis of the last census figures; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [2785/97]

Consideration of the need to establish a constituency commission will not arise until the final report of the 1996 Census is published.
