159 Mr. Lenihan asked the Minister for Education when construction work will commence and the opening date for the second phase of the Castleknock community college, Dublin 15; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [2829/97]
Castleknock community college is being developed in two phases and phase one of the new school has been completed. A schedule of accommodation for phase two has been issued to County Dublin vocational education committee and a design team has been appointed to undertake the architectural planning. The project will continue to be accorded a high priority in my Department and every effort will be made to ensure that the architectural planning is completed as quickly as possible with a view to inviting tenders immediately and building starting forthwith.
