207 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Justice if the Garda will utilise the Public Order Act, 1991 to remove groups of youths from a senior citizens complex (details supplied) in Dublin 7 in view of the fact that they cause disturbances nightly there. [3741/97]
I am informed by the Garda authorities that local gardaí are taking appropriate action to deal with youths who congregate at the location in question.
There is a neighbourhood watch scheme in operation in the complex and the liaison garda for the scheme has regular contact with the residents.
