264 Cecilia Keaveney asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry the numbers of live exports in each of the years from 1992 to date; the ports from which they left; their destination; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [3796/97]

The numbers of live exports in each of the years from 1992 to end of January 1997 and their destinations are as follows:

Live exports from Ireland take place from the ports of Greenore, Dublin, Dún Laoghaire, Rosslare, Waterford and Cork; Dublin, Knock and Shannon airports and across the land frontier. The breakdown of exports by port sought by the Deputy is not readily available.
