94 Ms Keogh asked the Minister for Health the cost to date of the Professor Michael Murphy review group, established to study and report on the effects of the indicative drug budget target scheme; if the report has been completed; if it will be published; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [3534/97]

Limerick East): A study on the effects of the indicative drug target scheme has been commissioned by the Southern Health Board in association with the Department. The total cost of this study is £75,000. The group, which is chaired by Professor Michael Murphy, professor of clinical pharmacology, University College, Cork, is currently drafting its report for submission to the Minister. No decision has been taken in relation to the publication of the report.
