Wallace asked the Minister for Justice the current status of her proposals to extend the rural policing scheme to the Navan area, including Duleek, Slane and Nobber Garda stations; if her attention has been drawn to the fact that there is concern regarding the impact of such a proposal in these areas, and that residents are anxious to see their own gardaí retained in their own stations and not have them despatched to their areas from the station at Navan; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
