171 Mr. Callely asked the Minister for Justice the gifts she accepted since her appointment to Government; if she will give details of the gifts and their monetary value; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [5283/97]

Minister for Justice (Mrs. Owen)

Since my appointment as Minister for Justice, I have received a number of token gifts, none of which has a value which comes near the threshold set out in the Ethics in Public Office Act, 1995.
