Vol. 475 No. 7

Written Answers. - Hospital Waiting Lists.

Tony Gregory

Question:

62 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Health further to his reply to Parliamentary Question No. 29 of 18 February 1997, if he will review the case of a person (details supplied) in Dublin 10 who could not get an appointment earlier than April 1997 and whose parents and doctor strongly believe an earlier appointment to be essential. [5693/97]

Limerick East): The provision of hospital appointments is a matter for the hospital and the consultant concerned. Accordingly I have asked the secretary/manager of the hospital concerned to investigate the position in relation to this case and to reply to the Deputy directly as a matter of urgency.
