52 Mr. Browne (Wexford) asked the Minister for Finance the reason renovations to Oulart Garda station, Oulart, County Wexford, have not commenced, in spite of the fact that Deputy John Browne was informed by the Department of Justice in 1996 that finances had been made available for such works; and if he will make a statement on the matter. It is expected that a contract for the refurbishment works will be placed within the next four weeks. It is regretted that arrangements for this particular project were not made until recently, due to other priorities which arose in 1996.
