Wallace asked the Minister for Equality and Law Reform the number of meetings held to date by the inter-Departmental committee on the Report of the Commission on the Status of People with Disabilities; the names of the persons in attendance at each meeting; and whether any Ministers, Ministers of State, programme managers or political advisers will be directly involved in the committee's work. The interdepartmental task force which I established to draw up a plan of action on the rights of people with disablities met on 21 January and 18 February 1997.
