235 Mr. O'Leary asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry if he will renew a scheme of grants through the farm development service for the reclaiming and draining of agricultural land; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [7358/97]

There are no plans to re-introduce a scheme for reclaiming and draining of agricultural land.
