214 Mrs. T. Ahearn asked the Minister for the Environment the actions, if any, he proposes to take in regard to a derelict house at Knocknaven Cappawhite, County Tipperary; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [8317/97]
It is primarily a matter for local authorities to implement the extensive range of powers available to them under the Derelict Sites Act, 1990 to deal with derelict sites, including derelict buildings. My Department has received no correspondence from the local authority in relation to the case referred to.
