My Department has not received an application for grant-aid under the farm electrification grants scheme from the above named person at that address.
336 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Transport, Energy and Communications when a person (details supplied) in County Mayo will be approved for a farm electrification grant in view of the fact that he applied some time ago. [9515/97]
This application was approved by my Department on 7 April 1997. The ESB will be in touch with the applicant to advise of the outcome and to quote subsidised terms for supply. As soon as ESB is notified of acceptance of these terms the applicant will be placed on the ESB's work programme.
