41 Dr. O'Hanlon asked the Minister for Finance the reason for the delay in the provision of premises for the Department of Social Welfare at Carrickmacross, County Monaghan; and when such premises will be available. [10076/97]

Negotiations to secure the acquisition by lease of new premises for the Department of Social Welfare in Carrickmacross are now finalised and the new premises will be ready for occupation by the Department in the near future when the fit out works have been completed.
