Written Answers. - Hospital Waiting Lists.

Michael Ring

Question:

70 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Health when a person (details supplied) in County Mayo will be called to Cappagh Hospital, Dublin 11 for a hip replacement operation in view of the fact that she is in severe pain. [11778/97]

Limerick East): Inquiries were made from the authorities at Cappagh Orthopaedic Hospital in this matter and they have confirmed that the person concerned is on their waiting list. I also understand from the hospital that it is expected she will be called for admission in the near future.
