79 Mr. E. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Health the proposals, if any, he has for a hospital (details supplied) in County Cork; and the amount of capital funding to be made available in this regard. [11862/97]

Limerick East): I am making available a capital grant of £150,000 to Midleton and District Day Care Limited towards the cost of a day care centre which it intends to build in the grounds of Midleton District Hospital. The grant will be paid in two moieties of £75,000 each, the first this year and the second in 1998.

80 Mr. J. Walsh asked the Minister for Health if he will make an allocation in 1997 to fund the building of a day care centre at Bandon District Hospital, County Cork; and when he will sanction the commencement of work on the centre. [11863/97]

Limerick East): I am making available a capital grant of £100,000 towards the cost of a day care centre in Bandon, County Cork. The grant will be paid in two moieties of £50,000 each, the first this year and the second in 1998. This will enable work to commence on the centre this year.
